Bead Inspired Fundraiser Host a Bead Inspired Fundraiser in your community. Includes bead making, bead history, bead stringing, live performances and Bead-a-thon where bead artists donate their time and talent to create unique glass beads to help children receiving treatment for cancer and other serious illness currently enrolled in the Beads of Courage Program. The Bead-a-thon features teams of bead makers working round the clock to create beads that will be distributed to participating children's hospitals nationwide currently providing the Program. More than 8000 children and families currently participate in 1 of 55 children's hospitals that provide the Program.
Strength Box Bracelet This is a fundraiser you can do in your school, home or community to raise funds to support the mission of Beads of Courage. It includes the activity of making a bracelet that is designed to serve as a symbolic marker of what inspires you and brings you strength. There is symbolism associated with the different beads. It encourages you to be creative in the beads you select and the way you string them together as you create your own wearable and meaningful art piece we hope inspires you and reminds you of the courage you hold within.
