how to help

You can assist with the national outreach effort to provide the Beads of Courage Program to all children coping with serious illness.

program expansion
Whether you are a nurse, doctor, hospital administrator, social worker or child life therapist, or the parent of a child with cancer, or a member of an interested charity, you can be the impetus for starting a Beads of Courage site in your area.

hospital sponsorship
You, or your charity, can become the initial sponsor of the Beads of Courage program at a children’s hospital near you.

financial support
You can help support all our programs by making a donation to Beads of Courage, Inc.  Any donation to our general funds enables us to reach more children, keep hospital costs low, expand the content of our programs and continue research projects.

florida glass dragons

Letter of acknowlegement from Florida Glass Dragons

Jean and Christy,

On behalf of the Florida Glass Dragons I would like to thank you for coming to our meeting yesterday and spending some time with us. I know that all of those in attendance now have a much better understanding of the significance of our contributions (both beads and money) to the success of the BOC program; so I fully expect that our commitment will grow and the beads you'll see coming from this group will be some of the best that you receive.

Your presentation was very informative and poignant, and the dedication that you two have towards growing this amazing program throughout the world is evident in everything you say and do. You are true ambassadors of hope, love, strength and courage. We are very proud to be associated with BOC and look forward to continuing our support of your efforts.

Thank you very much for the t-shirts, necklaces and key chains, and all of the other "goodies" you gave us. We will cherish them and use them help further promote the BOC program.

Next time you are in Orlando, please come back to see us.

Fondly,
Becky Mason
Co-President
Florida Glass Dragons
