Beads of Courage Wants You to Be a Trailblazer in Your Life!
Every year since 2011, Beads of Courage has partnered with Artmosphere Studio in Anchorage, Alaska to send artist-made glass beads with mushers competing in the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. The goal of this annual event is to connect Alaska's Last Great Race with Beads of Courage members and families. Iditarod mushers share the strength and courage they need for this demanding race through the beads they carry on the 1,000-mile-long trail in the Alaska wilderness.
Did you know that the Iditarod race is not just about winning? It is about setting a goal and persevering until you achieve it. The race isn't officially over until the Red Lantern (the very last team) crosses the finish line. Every team is a winner for competing and never giving up!
Each bundle consists of:
-Spirit Bear plush: Alaska is bear country and has more bears than any other state or province in North America. Bears are powerful animals that symbolize strength, confidence and courage. Keep your Spirit Bear close by you as a reminder of your inner strength and fearlessness.
-Artist-made glass bead: These Alaska-themed beads were donated by talented bead artists specifically for Beads on the Trail. Each of these beautiful beads represents an animal or symbol associated with Alaska and is a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.

We hope your Beads on the Trail bundle encourages you to stay strong and be a trailblazer in your life!
Beads of Courage wishes to thank Jerry Poore of the Jim Click Automotive Group for his generous donation of these Spirit Bears.
